Digital Field Notes

I’m Robert Grunau and above all else I consider myself a writer and a thinker, one who is old enough to remember a time before the internet. For work, I do Data Engineering for a global logistics company. When it comes to fun stuff I like moving my body in challenging and novel ways, I meditate, occasionally fly fish. I also do a fair amount of reading, did a little freelance writing before learning to code, and I have a long line of former hobbies; some of which are: bicycle racing, photography, and rock climbing.

I also write about training/fitness, meditation, and personal change over at The Askesis Project. This site is a catch all that doesn’t fit over there.
